4.1 magnitude aftershock jolts Dolakha

16 June, Kathmandu : An aftershock measuring 4.1 in the Richter scale occurred in Dolakha district this morning. According to the National Seismological Centre, Department of Mines and Geology, the aftershock measuring 4.1 in the Richter scale was recorded at 9:53 am with its epicenter in Lamabagar, Dolakha.

Senior Seismologist at the Centre, Lok Bijay Adhikari, said it was the aftershock of the Gorkha Earthquake. More than 540 aftershocks above 4 in the Richter scale have been recorded so far after Gorkha Earthquake occurred on April 25, 2015.
