Bardiya Prohibitory order extended for five days

Bardiya : A prohibitory order in Bardiya district has been extended for five more days from Sunday. Earlier, the District Administration Office had decided to issue a five-day order after the COVID-19 pandemic was confirmed at the community level.

A meeting of the District COVID-19 Crisis Management Committee chaired by Chief District Officer Liladhar Adhikari on Sunday decided to extend the prohibitory order until August 21 midnight.

According to DAO information officer Narayan Prasad Dhakal, the meeting has also restricted to organize public gatherings in the name of cultural and religious functions. Seminars, trainings, beauty parlor saloon and gym houses are also restricted to run until further notice, Dhakal said.
