28 June Butwal : A journalist has died in a road accident in Rupandehi last night. Krishna Babu Pandey,30, of ward no. 6 Tilottama municipality died in the accident involving a car that he was driving, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Dilli Narayan Pandey.

Pandey was returning to his residence from Butwal when he hit a roadside bar in the accident that took place around 11:00 pm. Seriously injured, journalist Pandey died during treatment at Churaha Hospital of Butwal. He had suffered serious head injuries.

Pandey was working as a correspondent for News24 TV and also running a powernewsnepal, a news portal. A permanent resident of Syangja, Pandey was a popular singer. Meanwhile, the Tilottama media club has issued a statement expressing sorrow over the untimely demise of its member Pandey.
