Nepal Covid-19 tally crosses 14,000

1 July, Kathmandu : The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 14,046 as of Wednesday afternoon.

In his daily press briefing in Kathmandu, the ministry’s spokesperson Jageshwor Gautam said 482 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours. In total, 4,886 swab samples were tested in this period. So far, over 233,000 people have undergone PCR tests for coronavirus, Gautam informed.

Of the total cases, 4,656 people have achieved recovery whereas 30 died, according to him. One death has been confirmed in the past 24 hours.

The disease has spread across all 77 districts of the country. In various parts of the country, 48,362 have been quarantined waiting to be tested.
