Nepali Youth Scientist Wins Gold Medal

21 Oct, Kathmandu: Nepali youth scientist Swaraj Sagar Pradhan has won three medals including gold in the 8th Asia Pacific Young Scientist Conference held in Russia.
A student of South Western State College, Basundhara, Pradhan defeated competitors from 23 countries to win gold medal for his presentation on ‘Use of micro-satellite for global connective, high speed transmission and Data analysis.
Likewise, Dikshya Sanjel of Asmita School and Rishi Kumar Gupta of Kathmandu model college won bronze medals. The event was held in Russia from October 14 to 19. Students from nine different colleges of Nepal had taken part in the conference.
