Nepal Bag Gold In ITF World Junior Tennis Championship

24., Kathmandu : Nepal have won gold medal in the ITF World Junior Tennis Championship underway in Jakarta of Indonesia. Nepal won gold in the U-14 age group male team competition held on Sunday. The Nepali male team beat Sri Lanka 2-1 in straight set, team coach Krishna Raj Ghale said. Before this, Nepal beat Pakistan 2-1, Syria 3-0 and Singapore 2-1 sets.

Aki Juwen Rawat, Aarav Samrat Hada and Pranav Manandhar are playing under the U-14 group from Nepal. The champions Nepal and first runner-up Sti Lanka have been selected for the World Junior Championship to be held in Australia in March this year.
