President Bhandari rescinds two ordinances

25 April Kathmandu : President Bidya Devi Bhandari today, on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers, scrapped two ordinances issued and endorsed few days back.

The ordinance entitled ‘Constitutional Council’s functions, duties, rights and working procedures (first amendment)’ and another ordinance relating to ‘Political Parties (second amendment)- 2077 BS’ were issued on April 20 in accordance with the Constitution. The Office of the President confirmed the repeal of both the ordinances through a press statement.
