WHO alert on use of its logo

1 May Kathmandu : The World Health Organization (WHO) has stated that only its Nepal based office can use WHO logo on its approved programmes and materials.

Issuing a press release today, the WHO has said that its attention was drawn on misuse and unofficial use of the logo in Nepal.  It has clarified that any stuff with WHO logo means that is certified by WHO.

Therefore, it could be used only after WHO’s written permission. “The use of the WHO logo is restricted to government agencies and institutions that have an official collaborating status with the WHO and only in conjunction with the work that they are undertaking with the WHO,” added the press release.
