One-way traffic resumes 36 hours after in Narayanghat-Mugling road section

21 July Chitwan : Disrupted after the landslip triggered by torrential rainfall, the Narayanghat-Mugling road section resumed for one-way traffic this afternoon after 36 hours of disruption.

A massive landslip near Charkilo section of the road that occurred at 5:00 am on Monday was cleared resuming the one-way traffic at 5:00 this afternoon, Information Officer of the Narayanghat-Mugling Road Project Shiva Khanal said. Around 60 metres of the road was covered with the debris after the occurrence of landslip.

However, the technicians and labourers were not able to work on Monday due to rainfall and continued landslip. The clearance of the landslip started from this morning.
With the resumption of the traffic, the vehicles towards Chitwan have left for their destinations while the vehicles coming to Kathmandu are stranded in Dhading section of the Prithvi Highway.
