63 police personnel in Bhaktapur infected with COVID-19

20 Sept, Bhaktapur : Sixty three police personnel have been confirmed to have contracted COVID-19 in Bhaktapur district. The infected ones were posted at the Metropolitan Police Circle, Thimi and the police offices under it.

The infection cases were from the swab tests of 130 police personnel, said Chief of the Police Circle Rishiram Kandel, adding that the infected have been kept in isolation at Kharipati and Bode. As a result, services from the police offices have been affected, he said urging the service seekers to visit the police offices for only emergency.
