Let’s Make Koirala the Party President

The Congress, which was established to end the Rana rule and bring democracy to the country, brought democracy in 2007 BS with the participation of both the king and the people. He liberated the Nepali people from the tyrannical Rana rule that ruled for 104 years. Seeing the courage and bravery of Nepalis living under 30 years of age at that time, not only the Rana but also the whole of India was scared. The people also liked the Nepali Congress in 2015 BS as they saw the good deeds done on behalf of the people and reached the courtyards of the people’s houses and helped them in their problems. The Nepali Congress formed the government with almost zero opposition and a huge majority.

Due to the policy, action plan of the Nepali Congress for the development of the country at that time, the support and cooperation of the people, the enthusiasm of the people for democracy and the faith in the leadership encouraged the leaders of that time to break the roots of development in the country. But such development plan of the Congress and the working style of implementing it made King Mahendra very angry and aggressive that now the Nepali Congress will lead the country on the path of development for years. That is why less than two years after the government elected by the people assumed power, the government elected by the people from the king in 2017 BS was sent to jail from Tundikhel. In that place, an autocratic independent system called Panchayat was born from the navel of the king.

Representatives of the people elected by the people were imprisoned. The country development plans made by the Nepali Congress were thrown in the trash. How much omnipotence was done because of being a Congress? In many countries, they could not bear the severe torture of the Panchayat and went into exile. The Goman snake named Panch bit the pro-independence Nepali people till it bit them. However, there was a feeling that the Congress was still alive in the country. Any citizen was proud to say that I am the Nepali Congress. It was BP Koirala who did not allow the cadres to be disturbed even in the face of severe torture and extreme deprivation. Like the current leader, Anasuki did not seek the help of any foreign country.

With self-respect, he explained the Nepali Congress and the democratic socialism adopted by the Congress in a more sophisticated and time-relevant manner. He spent the rest of his life thinking about how to develop remote Nepali villages and settlements. As a member of the Nepali Congress, he spent his entire life in jail. How many promising Nepali Congress cadres have been shot at by the supporters of the brutal Panchayat system, how many have killed the poisonous tree called Panchayat for their personal interests.

In 2046 BS, the Nepali Congress declared the movement for democracy in the country. Even the organizations assigned to end the Congress by receiving awards from the Panchayat participated in the movement saying that if they could bring a system called democracy in the country, they could come to power on their own and create chaos. The Panchayat could not withstand the pressure of the civil movement. An interim government was formed in the country under the leadership of the Nepali Congress. The interim government drafted the constitution and held elections.

The Nepali Congress has twice won a clear majority in this country on the basis of the political principles of the great man Bishweshwar Prasad Koirala. The Nepali Congress must admit that when it defeated Kisunji, the perfect leader of democracy, it formed a one-party government, when it used Kisunji as a weapon to bring a clear majority. The same renounced great men who have been fighting incessantly for democracy since 2007 were made homeless by crying. Even Bir Ganeshman Singh, who was respected as an esteemed leader, was heartbroken.

The Congress was the only political party to support Surya Bahadur Thapa as the Prime Minister and Lokendra Bahadur Chand. In any case, until then, there was a party called Nepali Congress in this country. Do people still do anything? That is why the Nepali people twice gave the Nepali Congress a majority to run a clear government. But now the Nepali Congress Party has lost in this country. Together with the party, the principle of democratic socialism he has adopted has been lost. The only Hindu state in the world has lost due to the irresponsible decision of the same Congress. Along with the Sanatan Hindu Rashtra, the monarchy that has been playing an active role in building Nepal for hundreds of years has been lost. Unity among Nepalis has been lost. The people have lost faith in the Christian clergy who prefer to be Nepali leaders. The number of criminal minded people living in Kathmandu and trying to empty the government coffers has increased.

Honest cadres are now even more obscured. The morale of the communists has increased that if the Nepali Congress is eliminated, one-sided rule can be exercised in Nepal. Seeing such a situation, the confidence of the Nepali people towards the Nepali Congress is gradually eroding.
To lift the Nepali Congress from such a situation, the leaders and activists of the entire Nepali Congress again called on Dr. Shekhar Koirala has to be made the party president. It takes courage, fortitude and bravery to re-establish the Nepali Congress while preserving its branch. Wake up, let’s get up!
