Public holiday to mark Maghe Sankranti

Kathmandu : The federal government has decided to give a public holiday on the occasion of Maghe Sankranti and Maghi festivals tomorrow. The decision taken by the Council of Ministesr on January 10 was shared today by the Home Ministry.

Accordingly, the public holiday will apply for across the country on Wednesday, with all government and public offices, as well as Nepal diplomatic missions abroad remaining closed.
