Foreign Minister Gyawali in New Delhi
Kathmandu : Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali has reached in New Delhi of India to participate in the sixth meeting of Nepal-India Joint Commission this afternoon.
Minister Gyawali was welcomed at Indira Gandhi International Airport by Nepali Ambassador to India Nilambar Acharya.
Minister Gyawali and India’s External Affairs Minister Jaishankar Subrahmanyam would co-chair the meeting. Minister Gyawali is scheduled to meet high-level officials of the Government of India during his visit in India, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Meanwhile, Ambassador Acharya met with Army Chief of India Bipin Rawat on Thursday. According to Nepal Embassy in New Delhi, issues related to Nepal-India bilateral concerns were discussed at the meeting.
