A Wave of Those Entering the Nepali Congress in The East

Kathmandu: With the arrival of Dr. Shekhar Koirala those who joined the Nepali Congress in the East was enter yesterday.

Wherever Dr. Koirala goes there, there is a flurry of people entering the Nepali Congress. A few days ago, Koirala, who was inducted into the party at a program in Itahari, Sunsari, has also inducted dozens of leaders and cadres in the program organized in Sundarharaincha Salakpur, Morang today.

Influential leader of the Nepali Congress Dr. Koirala has admitted former central member of RPP Krishna Bhattarai, former joint secretary to the government of Nepal Premprakash Upreti and former SP of Nepal Police Narendra Upreti to the party and said that he will always work to create an opportunity for all those who come to the Nepali Congress to use democracy equally.

Stating that democracy is now being attacked by the government and others from all quarters, Congress leader Dr. Koirala has said that there is no alternative to a strong movement. Around 233 people from RPP, former UML and former NCP Maoists have also joined the Nepali Congress in the program.

He was received by the leader Dr. Koirala was greeted with a four-star flag. The newly-arrived leaders and cadres also assured that the Nepali Congress would always be at the forefront of the fight for democracy.
