Butwal. Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has criticized the Election Commission for not making a decision on the legitimacy of the CPN (Maoist). He fears that the commission may not want to hold the election.

Addressing a rally in Butwal against the dissolution of the House of Representatives, Deuba said that he would not be asked to do the same in the case pending in the court. He said that his party had different views on the issue and would have to wait for the court’s decision.

He criticized the Election Commission for not deciding on the legitimacy of the CPN (Maoist). Stating that the election should be held within six months of the dissolution of the House of Representatives, Deuba said, “The Election Commission does not care.
