Government, Chand’s NCP ink three-point agreement
Kathmandu: The government and the Nepal Communist Party led by Netra Bikram Chand have signed an agreement reached on Thursday. Both sides signed the agreement on the witnesses of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and party general secretary Chand.
Home Minister and government talks team coordinator Ram Bahadur Thapa and a member Dr Rajan Bhattarai signed on the agreement on behalf of the government and NCP’s talks team coordinator Khadga Bahadur Bishwakarama and member Uday Chalaune signed it on behalf of the party, amidst a ceremony at the City Hall this afternoon.
The bilateral meeting held at the Prime Minister’s official residence, Baluwatar Thursday ended with the three-point agreement which includes the launching of peaceful political activities by the party and the release of party cadres by the government.
