NC condoles demise of party leader Bista

Kathmandu: Nepali Congress (NC) Parliamentary Party has expressed sorrow over the demise of former Minister of State for Information and Communications, party leader and former Constituent Assembly (CA) member Tapta Bahadur Bista.

Issuing a press statement today, NC National Assembly Parliamentary Party chief whip Anita Devkota extended sorrow over the death of Bista and heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. Bista, 58, succumbed to COVID-19 at Lalitpur-based Medicity Hospital Saturday night. He was born in Achham

He had served long as the NC President for Surkhet district and was elected to the 2013 Constituent Assembly from the Surkhet Constituency-3. Bista was known as gentle, honest and development –lover leader among the political circle. The party termed his demise as an irreparable loss to the party.
