Journalist Aidi passes away
Simkot: Humla-based journalist Nanda Aidi has died in course of treatment. He died under treatment at Sumeru Hospital in Kathmandu on Saturday, his spouse Babita Budha said. The 30-year-old journalist was suffering from liver and kidney ailment. He had been undergoing treatment at various hospitals in Kathmandu since the last two weeks.
According to Budha, Aidi was suffering from Hepatitis B, liver and kidney diseases. He was the publisher and Chief Editor of ‘Takeshwor Awaj’, a vernacular newspaper.
Aidi leaves behind his wife, two daughters and a son. Humla district has lost a youth and emerging journalist in his demise. He was the resident of Phucha, Sarkegad Rural Municipality-8 in the district.
