NEPSE drops by 15.54 points today

Kathmandu: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index drops by 15.54 points to settle at 2,594.13.

According to the NEPSE, 13.87 million 579 shares of 322 different companies were bought and sold 64,278 times, resulting in a transaction worth Rs 6.65 billion 883 thousand.

All the sub-indices of the groups have decreased in today's trading. The trade group has decreased the most by 1.89 percent, the hotel and tourism group by 1.36 percent and the finance group by 1.32 percent. Banking has decreased by 0.35 percent, development bank by 0.58 percent, hydropower by 0.49 percent, investment by 0.60 percent and life insurance by 0.50 percent.

Similarly, manufacturing and processing decreased by 0.77 percent, microfinance by 0.44 percent, mutual funds by 0.42 percent, non-life insurance by 0.02 percent and other groups by 0.67 percent. While the share price of Barahi Hydropower Public Limited entered a positive circuit today, the share prices of Atmanirbhar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited and Sindhu Bikas Bank Limited entered a negative circuit.
