RSP lawmaker Magar files nomination for Deputy Speaker

Kathmandu : Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) lawmaker Indira Rana Magar has registered her nomination for the election of the House of Representatives (HoR) Deputy Speaker.

Party’s lawmaker Sobita Gautam proposed the nomination of Rana Magar and CPN (UML)’s Krishna Gopal Shrestha, CPN (Maoist Centre)’s Narayani Sharma and Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP)’s Rajendra Prasad Lingden backed it.

The election of the Deputy-Speaker will be taking place at 1:00 am of January 21 at the Federal Parliament Secretariat in accordance with the rule 8 of the House of Representatives (HoR) regulations, 2075 BS.

The Federal Parliament Secretariat has scheduled the time from 1:00 am to 4:00 pm today to file nominations for the election. The final lists of candidacy will be published at 4:15 pm today.
