PSC & Tharu Commission Submits Annual Report To President
5 Nov., Kathmandu : The Public Service Commission (PSC) has submitted its 60th annual report to President Bidya Devi Bhandari. PSC Chair Umesh Prasad Mainali presented the report of fiscal year 2075-76 BS (2018-19) to the Head-of-the-State amidst a programme today at the Rastrapati Bhawan, Shital Niwas.
As per the constitutional provision, the PSC presents a report mentioning progress about works execution of a year before the President. It had first presented its annual report in 2016 BS. PSC members were also present on the occasion. On the occasion, PSC Chair Mainali gave words to further boost up the organisation’s image as a fair and disciplined body.
The report features organisation’s administrative and fiscal status, audit technology, academic competency and works carried out in regard with its curriculum, details about its exams, interviews and recommendation and inclusive appointments. Similarly, descriptions about decisions and responses taken in regard with the complaints the PSC has received, appointments at the local level, its role in the appointments at security bodies and other organisations, works of organizational reform and innovative works are included in the document, according to PSC information officer Devi Prasad Subedi.
According to him, the PSC last fiscal year had organised 87 meetings which ended in 297 decisions. The report states that the PSC develops 30 syllabuses for posts of various levels at local-level.
Tharu commission submits report to President Bhandari
The Tharu commission has submitted its annual report to the President Bidya Devi Bhandari today. The commission chair Bishnu Prasad Chaudhary submitted the annual report of fiscal year 2075/76 BS to the Head of the State at an event at Sheetal Niwas.
The report includes commission’s work progress, future plan, budget and human resources among other issues. The commission was formed on 19 February 2019. rss
