Health Minister confers with state ministers on effective response to COVID-19

27 May Kathmandu : Minister for Health and Population Bhanubhakta Dhakal has held discussions with the Social Development Ministers of all the seven States regarding the works carried out for the prevention and control of COVID-19.

Through a video conference with the states’ ministers on Tuesday, he emphasised on making the prevention and control measures more effective, Ministry’s expert advisor Dr Khem Karki said.

Secretary at the Ministry Yadav Koirala, expert advisor Dr Karki, Department of Health director general Mahendra Prasad Shrestha and joint secretary and commander of the Incident Command System at the Ministry, Dr Gunaraj Lohani also participated in the video conference along with Minister Dhakal.

COVID-19 has been found in 772 people while four people have died from this pandemic so far in the country .
