One more dies of COVID-19, caseload reaches 4,085 with 323 new in 24 hours

9 June Kathmandu : A person has died of COVID-19 on Tuesday. The Ministry of Health and Population shared this information during the regular press meet.

The latest victim was from Bharatpur Metropolitan City-11. He was suffering from fever, pneumonia and diabetes. He died in a hospital, Bharatpur. With this, the number of people losing life to COVID-19 has reached 15 in Nepal.

Similarly, in the last 24 hours, Nepal recorded 323 new cases of infection with the tests conducted in various laboratories across the country. Ministry Spokesperson Jageshwor Gautam said among the infected ones, 292 are males and 31 females.

With the recent updates, the coronavirus has spread to 72 of the 77 districts. The latest district is Ilam.

Meanwhile, 96 persons were discharged after recovery from various hospitals across the country. A total of 30 persons including six female were discharged from Janakpur COVID Hospital on Tuesday.
