279 individuals test positive to coronavirus today
10 June, Kathmandu : Two hundred and seventy-nine individuals tested positive for coronavirus today. In a regular press meet organized by Ministry of Health and Population, Spokesperson, Dr Jageshwor Gautam, shared that coronavirus has been confirmed on 257 men and 22 women in course of test carried out in different labs in the country.
With this, the total number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 4,364. Of them, 4,055 are men and 309 women. Similarly, 90 coronavirus infected people have been discharged today after recovery.
Gautam said that 88 men and 2 women receiving treatment at different hospitals have been discharged after complete recovery.
A woman and five men from Koshi Hospital, a woman from Balambu hospital of Armed Police Force, 18 men from Karnali Academy of Health Sciences, a man from BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan, 37 men from COVID-19 Hospital, Janakpur, 20 men from Mahendra Genai Isolation of Saptari and seven men from Corona Hospital, Dang, have been discharged. A total of 674 COVID-19 infected people have been discharged so far.
