Constitution amendment bill authenticated

18 June Kathmandu : President Bidya Devi Bhandari has authenticated the Constitution of Nepal (second amendment) Bill, 2077 today.

The bill had been presented to the President for authentication after being adopted by both the houses of the Federal Parliament.

The bill was authenticated as per Article 274 (10) of the Constitution, according to the Office of the President.

The Bill was adopted by a two-thirds majority by the National Assembly earlier today, and by the House of Representatives on June 14.
