Congress President Deuba met with Prime Minister Oli

Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba met with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli today and drew his attention about coronavirus infection and landslide and flood.

On the occasion, NC President urged and called on Prime Minister Oli to make new and special strategy to face challenges after the lifting of the lockdown at a time when the number of coronavirus infected people is likely to reach 20,000 and 42 people have already lost their lives to the pandemic, said NC Chief Secretary, Krishna Prasad Poudel.

He also urged the government to carry out coronavirus test only from PCR method and objected the government’s act, saying the government has not paid attention to make quarantines systematic and standard.

The leader of the main opposition party in parliament, NC President Deuba, also urged the government to rescue Nepalis facing problems in abroad due to coronavirus, to accelerate rescue and relief task as some people have gone missing, many people have become homeless and some people of lost their live at different places of the country due to flood and landslide.

Also the former Prime Minister, Deuba drew the PM’s attention to address genuine demands of different sectors, created due to coronavirus pandemic, added Chief Secretary Poudel.
