51 COVID-19 infection cases in Kathmandu Valley

Kathmandu : A total of 418 new COVID-19 infection cases including 51 in Kathmandu Valley have been added in the country in the past 24 hours. This takes the caseload to 20,750 in Nepal.

Today’s infection cases were out of 7,637 PCR tests carried out at various laboratories in the country, said Jageshwor Gautam, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population, at a regular press conference organised here on Monday.

Of the 51 infection cases confirmed in the Valley 43 are in Kathmandu, five in Bhaktapur and three in Lalitpur district. Likewise, 358 infected people were discharged from various health institutions across the country in the past 24 hours after recovery from the virus.
So far, the death toll from the infection is 57.
