State-5 government decides to restrict movement at border areas

Butwal :The government of State-5 has decided to make border management and control more strict and effective in view of the increased risk of COVID-19 in the State.
A meeting of State Corona Crisis Management Centre held under chairmanship of Chief Minister, Shankar Pokhrel, decided to make movement at border areas more strict and effective, reads a press release issued by Chief Minister’s press advisor, Sher Bahadur KC.
The State government also decided to make arrangement of safe arrival from the border areas fixed for Nepal-India movement, to keep record and making effective arrangement of health test establishing health desk.

The meeting also took the decision to control short-type of movement between Nepal and India as well as ask District Corona Crisis Management Centre to inform concerned employers not to involve those not staying at quarantine at last 14 days in works.

The Social Development Ministry of the State would take initiative to bring the lab of Rapti Academy of Health Sciences into operation for COVID-19 test as well as to assign the human resources deputed at Corona Special Hospital for three more months are also the decision taken by the meeting.
