Congress should be made a party of youth: General Secretary

Kathmandu : Nepali Congress General Secretary Dr Shashank Koirala has said that the Nepali Congress should be made a party of the youths. Speaking at a function held to welcome new entrants to his party here today, he said the entry of youths to the Congress has added new energy, which should not go waste.

He also said that the victory of the NC was essential to make the country competent in socio-economic as well as political perspective. The time has come for the youths to raise voice against injustice.

The NC General Secretary also claimed that people’s disenchantment was growing towards the working style of the present government.

On the occasion, some three dozen youths of Doramba village in Ramechhap joined the Nepali Congress from various political parties. General Secretary Koirala welcomed the new entrants with garlands.
