NCP Standing Committee Meeting to Be Held on September 11
7 Sept, Kathmandu : The Nepal Communist Party (NCP)’s Standing Committee meeting which was postponed since July 28 is slated for September 11. NCP Chair and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and another Chair as well as former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ agreed to summon the long overdue meeting in today’s meeting between them.
According to NCP central department of publicity deputy chief Surya Thapa, the date for the Standing Committee meeting was set today morning after the meeting between the party two chairmen at the official residence of Prime Minister at Baluwatar. PM Oli and leader Dahal had held a meeting at Baluwatar which was attending by the NCP top ranking leaders as well as its general-secretary Bishnu Poudel.
The meeting of NCP secretariat held on September 3 had deliberated on the report prepared by the taskforce formed to address the internal disputes in the party. A proposal seeking deliberation on that report would be presented in the upcoming Standing Committee’s meeting.
