Bhandari Urges for Effective Implementation of Education Policies

4 Dec., Kathmandu : President Bidya Devi Bhandari has appealed for the effective implementation of government policies and programmes on education so that the children in the country could be guaranteed their right to education even in the unfavourable time of Covid-19 pandemic.

President Bhandari urged for the same in a meeting held in the Office of the President-Shital Niwas- with the Minister for Education, Science and Technology Girirajmani Pokharel and Secretary Gopinath Mainali. The Head of the State inquired them whether the projects and programmes related to education for the current fiscal year were being enforced effectively, shared spokesperson at the MoEST, Deepak Sharma.

On the occasion, Minister Pokharel said that it was imperative to focus education on knowledge creation. Likewise, Secretary Mainali shed light on the alternative teaching-learning method being implemented in the adverse situation.
